OPPO has announced its partnership with MediaTek to introduce the new Dimensity 9500 chipset in the upcoming OPPO Find X9 Series, making it the first smartphone lineup globally to feature MediaTek’s latest flagship platform. The announcement was made at India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, where both companies highlighted their joint vision to advance on-device AI, performance efficiency, and mobile imaging.
Unveiled during MediaTek’s exclusive media briefing at IMC, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 introduces a groundbreaking third-generation All-Big-Core CPU architecture, comprising one 4.21GHz ultra-core, three premium cores, and four performance cores. This new design delivers up to 32% higher single-core and 17% higher multi-core performance over the previous generation, while reducing peak power consumption by up to 55%, significantly extending battery life.
Powered by the Arm G1-Ultra GPU, the platform achieves up to 33% higher graphics performance and 42% better power efficiency, enabling console-grade ray tracing on mobile. These capabilities are further enhanced by a customised cooling system in the OPPO Find X9 Series, ensuring sustained high-frame-rate gameplay even under demanding graphical loads.¹

During the showcase, MediaTek demonstrated the Dimensity 9500’s AI capabilities through real-time demos, including image-to-image AI rendering, 4K text-to-image generation, and advanced graphics powered by Unreal Engine technologies such as Mega Light and Nanite, designed to deliver console-class visual realism on mobile.
