Saviynt has announced the appointment of Clinton Mottram as Head of Application Identity Security for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Based in Singapore, Mottram will lead the company’s identity security efforts for applications across APJ, working closely with customers to help organisations address governance, risk and compliance challenges while safely scaling AI across the business and maintaining visibility and control.
His appointment comes at a pivotal time as organisations across APJ modernise their environments, accelerate AI adoption and strengthen identity security across increasingly complex digital ecosystems.
In his role, Mottram will work with customers and partners across APJ to strengthen application access governance and help organisations manage access, risk and compliance across business-critical applications. He will focus on helping organisations gain greater visibility into how identities access critical systems and strengthen controls as they adopt new technologies, including AI.
Mottram joins Saviynt with more than 25 years’ experience in the IT industry, spanning sales, consulting and strategic partnerships. Most recently, he was an Enterprise Sales Leader at Amazon Web Services, based in Singapore, where he led enterprise revenue growth and SAP cloud transformation strategy across ASEAN, building a repeatable, partner-led sales motion for mission-critical SAP workloads on AWS. He previously served as APAC Head of Strategic Account Sales and Transformation Leader at SoftwareOne and began his career at SAP, where he spent 14 years.
“India and SAARC are among the fastest-growing markets for identity security in the region, as enterprises here modernise complex application landscapes, including large SAP estates, while scaling AI adoption,” said Nitin Varma, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, India and SAARC, Saviynt. “Clinton’s appointment strengthens our ability to support customers across APJ with the governance and visibility they need as they navigate this transformation, and reinforces the deep investment we continue to make in this region.”
“Having worked with some of the region’s largest and most complex enterprise environments, I have seen how challenging it can be to maintain strong governance as organisations modernise applications and adopt AI,” said Mottram. “I’m looking forward to working with organisations across APJ to strengthen access governance, improve visibility and control, and help them securely scale AI while managing risk. Saviynt is well positioned to support organisations through this next phase of transformation, and I’m pleased to be part of that journey.”
The appointment also comes as Saviynt expands its engagement with the SAP ecosystem, following the company’s availability in the SAP Marketplace.
