F5 Networks has acquired API security startup Wib . The companies did not reveal the value of the acquisition, but it is estimated to be in the region of tens of millions of dollars, according to Israeli tech news platform CTEC.
Wib’s API security platform provides complete visibility across the entire API landscape, from code to production, and will become part of F5’s Distributed Cloud Services.
Wib is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel with international presence in Houston, USA and London, UK. It was founded in August 2021 by serial entrepreneur Gil Don (CEO), Ran Ohayon (CRO) and Tal Steinherz who previously served as the CTO of Israel’s national cyber directorate.
