Austrian entrepreneur Peter Steinberger, creator of the agentic AI tool OpenClaw, is joining OpenAI to drive the “next generation of personal agents.”
This was announced at X by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman who says, “He is a genius with a lot of amazing ideas about the future of very smart agents interacting with each other to do very useful things for people. We expect this will quickly become core to our product offerings.”
OpenClaw is an open-source tool that allows users to independently run AI agents on their own systems.
What makes this tool unique is its seamless integration with virtually all major AI chatbots, such as ChatGPT, allowing users to choose which AI they want to deploy.
